New Computer Equipment Warranty

Help Computer Centre warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of 12 months from date of purchase. During this period, Help Computer Centre will, at its option: (i) provide replacement parts necessary to repair the product; (ii) repair the product or replace it with a comparable product; or (iii) refund the amount you paid for the product, less depreciation, upon its return. Replacement parts and products will be new or serviceably used, comparable in function and performance to the original part or product and warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or, if longer, 90 days after they are returned to you.

Refurbished Computer Equipment Warranty

Refurbished and/or used computer equipment is made from all used components, including some with motors and moving parts which always eventually cease to function, the source of which is unknown to Help Computer Centre. As such, there are no warranties, either explicit or implied, which guarantee that this computer will continue to function for any specific amount of time.

However, in the event that the computer should cease to function within 6 months of the date of sale due to mechanical equipment failure, specifically excluding software malfunction and viruses,  Help Computer Centre will repair the equipment if repair is possible at a cost lower than the original cost of the equipment or exchange for a similar specification product. Outside of mechanical equipment failure, the customer is liable for the equipment and the software and data which are on it.  Help Computer Centre guarantees that all laptops will have a battery that holds charge but cannot guarantee for how long as they are a disposable item. The computer equipment has newly installed software and contains no viruses, spyware, and/or malware (if applicable) at the time of sale.

All returns must be:

  • - Accompanied by a valid receipt/proof of purchase.
  • - Within warranty period.
  • - In the same condition in which it was bought.
